GideonFlip Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026

GideonFlip ("the app") is a personal decision-aid and Bible verse reader built and maintained by Derek Leavitt. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Collect
None. GideonFlip does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or third-party integrations of any kind.

Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores two types of data locally in a SQLite database on your device:

Bible verses – bundled with the app at install time; never modified after installation.
Your decisions – the question, outcome labels, coin-flip results, and timestamp you enter on the Hard Decisions screen. This data lives only on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
All stored data is private to the app and inaccessible to other apps on your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

Network Access
GideonFlip makes no network requests. It does not connect to the internet at runtime.

Device Permissions
The app requests no device permissions (no camera, microphone, location, contacts, notifications, or storage access beyond its own private sandbox).

Children's Privacy
GideonFlip does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy
